PITCH CHALLENGE
The Business Navigator Pitch Challenge was a shark-tank style pitch event promoting ideas and innovation in the Western Downs. It was a great opportunity to get products or services in the spotlight and provided a great launch pad for businesses.
It was held in 2018 and 2020 and saw the region really showing
its vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. See the results below:
HOW IT WORKED
Apply
Online
Applicants applied online with details of business growth idea. All applications were assessed and 12 semi finalists selected to prepare a pitch for judges.
Get
Training
Semi finalists participated in tailored workshops and individual coaching to prepare and deliver a pitch that tells their story and delights judges and audience.
Make
Pitch
Semi finalists competed in a shark-tank style competition to deliver a 5 minute pitch followed by a Q&A session with the judging panel. Six finalists were selected to deliver their pitch to a dinner of 100 business leaders and win prize money to kick start their idea.
