Competition Terms & Conditions

THE PROMOTER

The promoter is Toowoomba & Surat Basin Enterprise Pty Ltd ACN 155 004 523 (TSBE)

ELIGIBILITY

Entry is only available to residents of Queensland who are aged 18 years or older on 7 September 2020.  Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.

HOW TO ENTER

  • Entrants must complete the entry form on the Business Navigator Western Downs website and fill in all required fields.

  • The promotion ends 5pm (AEDT) 7 September 2020.

  • Fifteen (15) winners in each category (Dalby/Bunyas, Chinchilla/Tara/Jandowae, Miles/Condamine/Wandoan) will be announced on Thursday 10 September 2020.

  • ​

THE PRIZE:

  • Forty five prizes (45) of three nights accommodation of one room at any single hotel, motel, B&B or caravan park listed on www.westerndownsqueensland.com.au at 7 September 2020.  

  • Winners will be contacted to select their preferred property and booking dates.  

  • No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent for the prize is allowed. 

  • The prize must be booked before 9 October 2020 and taken before 31 January 2021.  Date changes may be made directly with the accommodation provider following the initial booking and are at their discretion.

  • The promoter does not provide travel insurance for the winners and is not liable for any injury, or property loss or damage during travel period. 

  • Given COVID-19, the Promoter suggests the winners purchase travel insurance.

 

THE DRAW 

  • The draw will take place on Wednesday 9 September 2020 in the office of the Promoter. 

  • Entrants are not required to be present at the draw. 

  • All valid entries will go into the draw and 15 winners in each category (Dalby/Bunyas, Chinchilla/Tara/Jandowae, Miles/Condamine/Wandoan) will be selected at random. 

  • Each entrant has an equal opportunity of winning. 

  • The results of the draw are final and binding and not subject to review. 

  • The Promoter reserves the right to alter or cancel any aspect of this promotion at any time. The winners will be notified via email within two days of the draw. 

  • The winners’ names will be listed on Facebook and the Business Navigator Western Downs website, and may also appear in the Sunday Mail, Gold Coast Bulletin, Toowoomba Chronicle, Chinchilla News, Dalby Herald, the Western Downs Town & Country Newspaper, the Murilla News, the Window on Wandoan, the Chinwag and the Jandowae News (Publishers).

  • By entering into the competition, each entrant consents to the Promoter using their personal information to administer the competion and for the Publishers to publish the names of the winners.

  • The prize will be delivered to the winners via email. 

 

PRIVACY 

  • Entrants agree to their personal contact information being held and used by the promoter in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act.

  • Entrants who opt-in to receive marketing information agree to receive information about Western Downs holidays from Western Downs Regional Council and Southern Queensland Country Tourism.

  • Entrants consent to their name being announced publicly through Facebook communication, on the Business Navigator Western Downs website and in the news media listed above if they win the competition.
