2018 Finals saw 9 aspiring innovators from the Western Downs showcase their business ideas and hear from Leanne Kemp, Queensland Chief Entrepreneur, a prominent figure in the technology sector and recognised internationally as an innovator and leader.

David's innovative idea of a unique steel picket driving concept reduces labour, cost and time to complete a fencing job. The easy to use design means the equipment is a safe and efficient way to reduce risk of fatigue and injury in the working environment.

Naomi's online contract review service making legal contract advice more affordable and accessible. Motivated to modernise the Australian legal industry, Bealla Legal is Australia’s first online contract review service being 100% virtual.

Recognising the mental health issues associated with rural living and using performance-based education in schools to help combat some issues.
The Theater Company is promoting positive mental health in regional areas through play and creating a space which gives ownership to young people.
