PITCH CHALLENGE

Six finalists battled it out on 19 March 2020 to win the 2020 Pitch Challenge, a friendly ‘shark-tank’ style event where Western Downs entrepreneurs deliver their idea for a new product, service or business and share in over $30,000 przie money.

The winner of the Best New Business Idea was Megan Twidle of Chinchilla.

Megan's new business, d8denim, (formerly Stytchy Wytchy), repurposes old jeans into unique clothing and accessories.  Currently selling at capital city hand made markets and on Etsy, Megan plans to establish an online store in 2020.

The winner of the Best Business Growth Idea was Annie Cusack of Jandowae.

Annie is the co-owner of Active Physiotherapy in Dalby.  As a result of 20 years of physiotherapy and women's health experience, Annie has developed a 12 week online program aimed at reducing the impact of incontinence on adult women.
